It’s easier to replace it with new oil that way. Its a feature not a bug.

You joke but my 330 has drank like 3 litres of oil in 8 months. At this rate w hy bother doing actual oil changes when it flushes itself ;)

Hah! Just 3 liters!

My Mini has used up about 12 liters in the last year. Approx 1 lit every 2500 miles. (Yes, I have driven her 30k miles last year. )
